FAQ

Wedding DJ questions

How far in advance should I book a wedding DJ?

We recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (April through October). Popular dates fill quickly, and early booking ensures you get the DJ who best matches your style.

Can I choose my own songs and create a playlist?

Absolutely. During your planning session, you will build a must-play list, a do-not-play list, and set genre preferences. Your DJ uses this as a foundation and reads the room to keep the energy right.

Do you provide microphones for toasts and speeches?

Yes. Every wedding package includes wireless microphones for the officiant, readers, toasts, and any special announcements. We always bring backups.

How long does the DJ stay at my wedding?

Standard packages cover 5 to 6 hours of active DJ and MC time, plus setup and teardown. Extended coverage is available for longer receptions or multi-venue weddings.

What happens if my DJ gets sick on my wedding day?

With 12 professional DJs on staff, we always have backup coverage. If your assigned DJ has an emergency, another experienced member of our team steps in — fully briefed on your playlist, timeline, and preferences.

Do you work with wedding planners and coordinators?

Yes. Your DJ coordinates directly with your planner, photographer, videographer, caterer, and venue staff before the event. We attend rehearsals when requested and align on every detail.
